The Patriot Tour Comes to Port St. Joe: Supporting Veterans and Their Families
The Forgotten Coast has always been a place where community, patriotism, and support for those who serve run deep. This July, residents and visitors will have a meaningful opportunity to come together as The Patriot Tour™, hosted by Nation of Patriots™ – Florida, travels through the Port St. Joe area on July 8–9, 2026.
This powerful nationwide event carries one American flag through communities across the country, uniting people behind a shared mission: supporting veterans and their families. More than a ride, The Patriot Tour is a moving symbol of gratitude, remembrance, and action.
About Nation of Patriots™
Nation of Patriots™ is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness for military-related issues and providing financial support to veterans and their families. The organization works to assist veterans facing physical, emotional, and economic hardships by gathering support through a nationwide network of riders, volunteers, donors, businesses, and community partners.
Founded in 2008, Nation of Patriots launched the first Patriot Tour in 2009. Since then, the movement has grown into a nationwide effort with a clear and meaningful purpose: to unite Americans beneath the flag and rally support for the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
One of the most meaningful parts of the organization’s mission is its commitment to giving donations directly to veteran households in need. Nation of Patriots is a volunteer-driven organization, and its work is centered on making a real difference for veterans and military families across the country.
What Is The Patriot Tour
The Patriot Tour is the signature national event of Nation of Patriots. Each year, one American flag is passed from rider to rider, state to state, and community to community. The flag’s journey represents unity, sacrifice, patriotism, and the shared responsibility of supporting those who have served.
As the flag travels across the country, local communities gather for ceremonies, rides, fundraisers, and moments of recognition. Every stop is a reminder that veterans’ sacrifices should never be forgotten and that support for military families should continue long after service ends.
The Patriot Tour honors past, present, and fallen members of the United States Armed Forces while raising funds to provide direct assistance to veterans and their families. Over the years, this national movement has helped hundreds of families and raised significant financial support for those in need.
Why This Mission Matters
For many veterans and military families, the challenges do not end when active service is complete. Some face medical expenses, housing needs, financial hardship, emotional struggles, or the everyday challenges that come with rebuilding life after service.
Nation of Patriots helps bring attention to those needs while giving communities a direct way to participate. Whether someone rides, donates, volunteers, attends a ceremony, or simply helps share the message, every act of support contributes to the larger mission.
The Patriot Tour is also a visible reminder of unity. In every town it visits, the American flag becomes a symbol of connection between veterans, families, riders, businesses, and neighbors.
